WHO WE ARE
Wheelchair Basketball Australia (WBA) owns and operates the nation's elite domestic competitions: the National Wheelchair Basketball League (NWBL) and the Women's National Wheelchair Basketball League (WNWBL).
WBA is the key pathway to national representation. Our leagues serve as the critical link between grassroots participation and international success, providing the highest level of domestic competition for current and aspiring Rollers and Gliders.

The Board of Wheelchair Basketball Australia is responsible for the strategic direction, commercial growth, and sustainability of the nation's elite competitions.
Comprised of leaders from the sports, business, and legal sectors, the Board focuses on professionalising the NWBL and WNWBL. Their mandate is to build a commercially viable product that delivers for athletes, fans, and partners, while ensuring the leagues serve as the ultimate proving ground for Australia’s national team representatives.
