His portfolio includes leadership and broadcast roles for the Sydney Olympic Games, Melbourne Commonwealth Games, Australian Open Tennis, the PGA Tour, the World Surfing Tour, and the Los Angeles Marathon. This extensive background has provided him with invaluable insights into event operations, stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of world-class athlete experiences.

A specialist in sports governance, John holds a Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance from Bond University. In addition to his postgraduate degrees, John has earned an extensive suite of industry credentials across sports governance, integrity, and leadership from institutions including Sport Integrity Australia, the Australian Sports Commission, World Athletics, and the University of Lausanne.
